Leslie was married 10 May 1910 Detroit Wayne Michigan USA, to Marguerite Anna Jensen. Together they had 2 children. They made their home in Sarnia, where both children were born. On 14 Oct 1925, the entire family relocated to Port Huron Michigan, the record states the move was permanent. However the marriage must have had some very rough spots, by 1930 Marguerite had remarried [Robert Andrew Christie], and was living in Port Huron, with her new husband and son William W Mitchell.
Their daughter Edna Marie Mitchell married Artnes Demars of Schoolcraft Co Michigan, and made her life there. His son, William W Mitchell was killed in 1944 during WWII, he was a Master Sergeant in the U S Air Force, his body was returned to Schoolcraft Co Michigan and he is buried in Fairview Cemetery as is his sister & her husband, His mother and her 2nd husband.
That Leslie is buried here in Hillsdale Cemetery suggests that he return to his native home. I have not found a 2nd marriage record for him, but that does not exclude that he remarried.

She and her first husband had 2 children both born in Lambton Ontario [both in this cemetery]; the family came to the United States 14 Dec 1925. Soon after they divorced. Marguerite was remarried to Robert Andrew Christie by the 1930 Census, living in St Clair Co Michigan, with her son William W Mitchell.
